The Story Behind the Brand

My name is Tanya Edwards, and I am the founder, formulator, and heart behind Taynas Body Care. Growing up in Jamaica, I was surrounded by the island's incredible natural bounty — turmeric roots pulled fresh from the earth, lemongrass growing wild in the yard, and the wisdom of generations of Jamaican women who knew exactly how to care for their skin using what nature provided.

That knowledge never left me. It became the foundation of everything I create.

Taynas Body Care was born from a deep desire to share Jamaica's natural beauty secrets with the world — to honour the traditions passed down through generations while crafting products that are pure, effective, and made with intention.
